Take the A1 (Autostrada) northbound towards Florence (Firenze) end exit at Orte.
Then take the Superstrada (E 45) towards Perugia, exiting after Perugia at Bosco-Gubbio and continue on the main road (n°298) towards Gubbio.
After 16,5 Km (about 10 miles), you will see a sign on the right side indicating the driveway of Castello di Petroia. Follow the gravel road for about Km 1.2 (about 1 mile).
The last 100 yards of the road is very steep. It leads to the Castle gate. Ring the bell on the side of the gate.

Take the A1 (Autostrada) towards Bologna. At Bologna take the main A14 and exit at Fano . Then take the main road towards Roma (and Gubbio).Follow the signs for Gubbio.
After Arriving in Gubbio (about km 90 from Fano), continue towards Perugia on the State Road 298.
